It's about time.....

So I guess it's about time that I post the "big announcement". If you don't already know, we are expecting baby #2. We decided to wait to tell everyone to make sure that everything was going good. Then, I just got so behind on blogging and busy doing other things that I never even posted that we are expecting. Before I knew it, it was almost ultrasound time. So I decided by this time I might as well wait another week for the ultrasound to post. This baby is also going to be a BOY! We are super excited for him! Peyton really wanted a sister, but he is excited about having a brother. Jake claims he knew the baby would be a boy..LOL and well, I just didn't care either way. I just want a healthy baby and wasn't really hoping for a certain gender. Although, if you ask Jake he thinks that deep down I wanted a girl. Even though I have told him the whole time that I am neutral on the gender. We wanted another baby and that is what we are getting, that in itself is such a blessing. I am nineteen weeks right now, the due date is on October 17th. Which is also my dads birthday. We have not thought of any names at this time, although Peyton is dead set on naming him Andy from Toy Story. I guess Andy is better than Woody or Buzz, but he still may be disappointed.

Red Sox

Peyton is playing T-ball this year and he loves it! If they are younger than 5 a parent has to help coach. Almost the whole team has a parent as assistant coaches since they are all younger! I am not sure who was more excited at first, Jake or Peyton- LOL! Now that Peyton is starting to see what it is all about he is really enjoying it. If the weather is good he likes to play at home as a family too. Which is really fun for Jake since I play just about as good as Peyton, haha. I have never claimed to be a ball player, but we sure have fun anyway. It reminds me of playing in my Grandma's backyard with my brothers and sister when we were little. The memories will be ones to cherish forever and I know Peyton will always remember it, so I buck up and play too ;)
This pic is right before his first game, hopefully I will remember to post more of him actually playing.

Peyton turns four!

Wow, I have been horrible at blogging! We have had so much going on and that needs to be on here, but each deserves it's own post. I will start and try to get this all up to date. I will start with our little man turning 4! I can't believe that Peyton turned four! It seems like we just had him! I am so thankful to have this little guy in our lives. He is so special in so many ways and we love him so, so very much! We are so proud of him and the wonderful little boy that he is growing into! Peyton was super excited this year for his birthday. He LOVES Toy Story and so he had a Toy Story party from the invitations to the cake and the pinata right down to the napkins. His birthday fell on a Wednesday and both weekends were super busy with our families, we decided to just celebrate on his actual birthday. We were sad that not everyone he wanted to be there could make it because the distance between us, hopefully they can all come next year. Peyton had a great time though, he still had lots of family there to celebrate his special day with him. He wasn't even shy at his party he was dancing around and just his happy go lucky little self! (We thought he might be a little shy since everyone was there just for him.) Peyton got so incredibly spoiled that I felt bad lugging all his presents home! We love for him to have so many people around that love him and want to spoil him, but it makes us think twice about having a big bash next year! Maybe we should put a price limit on gifts or even say no gifts we just want their company, LOL! Peyton loved all he got though and some of it needs to be saved until he is a little older or has an adult to help him. Like the bb gun or the grown up fishing pole and tackle. He also got a new bike and a new quilt that my mom and I had been working on for his bed. I say my mom and I, but she deserves all the credit since she did almost all of it. I just helped with a few odds and ends. It turned out super cute and Peyton loves it! We are grateful for all who came to spend his special day with us.
